Your privacy on Farmora
This page explains, in plain language, what information Farmora keeps, why we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it. This page is maintained by the Farmora team.
What we collect
- Account details you give us: name, email, phone number and role.
- Profile details such as farm or business name and general location.
- Listings, orders, messages and reviews you create on Farmora.
- Questions you ask our farming assistant, so we can answer better.
- Basic usage information that helps us fix problems.
Why we use it
To run your account, show your listings to the right people, process orders, arrange delivery, give farming advice, keep the marketplace safe, and improve the product.
Location
If you save a location, we store a general area (state and local government) plus coordinates so we can match nearby buyers, farms and transport, and give you local weather advice. Exact addresses are only shared with the other party once an order is agreed.
Who can see your information
Other users see only what your role requires — for example a buyer sees your listing, general location and rating. Our support team can access records when investigating a report. We do not sell your data.
How it is protected
Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with access rules that restrict each account to its own records. Access by our team is limited to what is needed for support and safety.
Your choices
- See and update your details from your profile settings.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account.
- Turn weather alerts and notifications on or off at any time.
To make any of these requests, use the contact page.
